WHEREAS, on December 20, 1994, by City Council authorized the City Manager
to enter into a contract with Russ Miller Construction Co., Inc. for improvements to the
Transit Facility Parking Area in the amount of$199,162.81; and,
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 was created to increase the Contract amount to
$211,698.65; and,
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 2 and Final is being requested to increase the
contract amount by$4,846.26 to reflect the quantities actually used during the construction
of the project;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to execute Change Order No. 2,
as stated above, with Russ Miller Construction Co., Inc. The project as stated above be
and the same is herein accepted and the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to
make final payment in the amount of$10,827.24.
