WHEREAS, bids were received on March 6, 1995 for a one (1) year contract for root
control treatment of sewer mains for the Water Utilities Department; and,
WHEREAS, Duke's Sales & Service, Inc. submitted a bid as follows:

WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Duke's Sales
& Service, Inc. should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Duke's Sales & Service, Inc. for a one (1) year contract for root
control treatment of sewer mains for the Water Utilities Department in the above stated
amounts be accepted by the City of Beaumont and the City Manager be and he is hereby
authorized to execute a contract with Duke's Sales & Service, Inc. for such project.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this theZsaday of
1995.
