WHEREAS, bids were received on March 6, 1995 for the construction of a
Wastewater Lift Station to be located at the Federal Prison site on Hebert Road; and,
WHEREAS, Placo, Inc. submitted a bid in the amount of$244,564.50; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Placo, Inc.
should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Placo, Inc. for the construction of a Wastewater Lift Station to
be located at the Federal Prison site on Hebert Road in the amount of $244,564.50 be
accepted by the City of Beaumont and the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized
to execute a contract with Placo, Inc. for such project.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the LLYZ day of
1995.
