BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Council hereby approves the purchase of four (4) Mobile Data Terminals
(MDT) for City's Auto Theft Task Force Division of the Police Department from Motorola
Communications and Electronics, Inc. in the amount of $21,364. This purchase is exempt
from competitive bidding because it is available from only one source. Funds for the
purchase are provided by a grant from the State.
