WHEREAS, sealed bids were received for the rehabilitation of two (2) low head
pumping units for the Water Production Division of the Water Utilities Department; and,
WHEREAS, Pump & Equipment of Texas, Inc. submitted a bid in the amount of
$36,900; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Pump &
Equipment of Texas, Inc. should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Pump &Equipment of Texas, Inc. in the amount of$36,900 for
the rehabilitation of two (2) low head pumping units for the Water Production Division of
the Water Utilities Department be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the J#2'd day of
1995.
