WHEREAS, sealed bids were received for an annual contract to provide routine
maintenance for City automobiles, vans and pickup trucks; and,
WHEREAS, Texaco Express Lube submitted a bid in the amount of $13.99 for
automobiles and pickup trucks, and $14.99 for diesel pickup trucks and vans; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Texaco Express
Lube should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Texaco Express Lube for an annual contract to provide routine
maintenance for City vehicles at $13.99 for automobiles and pick up trucks, and $14.99 for
diesel pickup trucks and vans be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this thead'4 day of
1995.
