WHEREAS, on October 4, 1994 by Resolution 94-275 the City Council approved the
purchase of three (3) paratransit vans for the Beaumont Municipal Transit with an option
to purchase additional vans upon approval of the City's Section 9 Grant Application by the
Federal Transit Administration; and,
WHEREAS, the Federal Transit Administration has approved the City's Section 9
Grant Application;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to purchase four (4) paratransit
vans for the Beaumont Municipal Transit at a cost of $54,275 each and thus exercise the
option available to the City in the original bid from Texas Bus Sales, Inc.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont on this the
