WHEREAS, on December 20, 1994, by City Council authorized the City Manager
to enter into a contract with Russ Miller Construction Co., Inc. for improvements to the
Transit Facility Parking Area in the amount of $199,162.81; and,
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 has been created to increase the Contract amount
to $211,698.65. This change order is needed because during construction it was determined
that an entire fence should be replaced along with its entrance gate:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to execute Change Order No. 1,
as stated above, with Russ Miller Construction Co., Inc.
