WHEREAS, sealed bids were received for the purchase of strain poles and luminaire
poles for the Public Works Department, Transportation Division; and,
WHEREAS, JEM Engineering&Manufacturing submitted a bid for eight(8) 34 foot
strain poles with 8 foot luminaire arms at $2,198 each and eight (8) 34 foot strain poles at
$1,938 each; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by JEM
Engineering & Manufacturing should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by JEM Engineering & Manufacturing for eight (8) 34 foot strain
poles with 8 foot luminaire arms at $2,198 each and eight (8) 34 foot strain poles at $1,938
each for the Public Works Department, Transportation Division be accepted by the City of
Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the day of
1995.
