WHEREAS, on March 8, 1994, City Council awarded a Contract to Daniel's Building
and Construction, Inc. for construction of the Magnolia Park Activity Center in the amount
of $2,292,100; and,
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 reduced the contract amount by $22,111; and,
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 2 is being requested to increase the contract amount
by $32,379.00 for providing additional protection from vandalism; and,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to execute Change Order No. 2 as
stated above with Daniel's Building and Construction, Inc.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 1A4 day of
1995.
