WHEREAS, three bids were received for the purchase of one (1) tractor with a front
end loader and rear mounted backhoe for the Water Utilities Department,Water and Sewer
Maintenance Division; and,
WHEREAS, Equipment Headquarters submitted a bid in the amount of $42,199;
and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Equipment
Headquarters, Inc. should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Equipment Headquarters, Inc. in the amount of$42,199 for a
Case Model 580L Loader Backhoe for the Water Utilities Department, Water and Sewer
Maintenance Division be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
