WHEREAS, an agreement has been negotiated for the acquisition of land for
improvements to the Liberty-Laurel Corridor from Eleventh Street to Phelan
Boulevard;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the purchase of the following land for improvements to the Liberty-Laurel
Corridor from Eleventh Street to Phelan Boulevard be, and the same is hereby,
approved:
Parcel 116: Lots 1, 22 3, 47 57 6, 7, 8, and 9, Block 36,
Jarrett Addition. (Southwest corner of Liberty and 14th Street)
Appraised Value: $100,238.00 (Whole Taking)
1/6 Interest: $ .00
Less Improvements: $ 0.00
Total Value: $100,238.00
Owner: Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word
