BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Council hereby approves the purchase of thirty-one (31) Mobile Data
Terminals (MDT) for the Police Department from Motorola Communications and
Electronics, Inc. in the amount of $166,711. This purchase is exempt from competitive
bidding because it is available from only one source. Funds for the purchase are available
in the Confiscated Goods Account.
