WHEREAS, on October 31, 1994, sealed bids were received for a one (1) year
contract for gaskets, couplings, meter boxes, ells, street ells, bushing reducers, manhole
covers, plugs, and wyes which are used for various sewer line repairs for the Water/Sewer
Division of the Water Utilities Department; and,
WHEREAS, the following companies submitted bids as follows:

WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bids submitted by the above
mentioned companies should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bids submitted by the above mentioned companies for a one (1) year contract
for gaskets, couplings, meter boxes, ells, street ells,bushing reducers, manhole covers, plugs,

and wyes which are used for various sewer line repairs for the Water/Sewer Division of the
Water Utilities Department in the above mentioned amounts be accepted by the City of
Beaumont and the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute contracts with Coburn
Supply, Golden Triangle Pipe, International Supply, Municipal Pipe and SPI Municipal
Supply.
