RESOLUTION NO. 9—')
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Council hereby approves the purchase of a modular office system for the
North End Activity Center in the amount of $21,990.20 from the Texas Correctional
Industries. State law exempts cities from competitive bidding requirements when purchasing
goods from another governmental entity such as TCI. Funds for the purchase are available
in the 1995 Capital Reserve Fund.
