WHEREAS, on Monday, November 14, 1993, sealed bids were received for the
purchase of ten (10) air masks with carrying cases, ten (10) air cylinders, and ten (10)
EEBSS Hose Packages for the Beaumont Fire Department; and,
WHEREAS, Mine Safety Appliances Company submitted a bid in the amount of
$25,296.70; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Mine Safety
Appliances Company should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Mine Safety Appliances Company in the amount of$25,296.70
for the purchase ten (10) air masks with carrying cases, ten (10) air cylinders, and ten (10)
EEBSS Hose Packages for the Beaumont Fire Department be accepted by the City of
Beaumont.
