WHEREAS, an agreement has been negotiated for the acquisition of land for
improvements to the Liberty-Laurel Corridor from Eleventh Street to Phelan
Boulevard; and,
WHEREAS, Conn Development Corporation wishes to exchange the right-of-
way out of Parcel 124 and 125 as part consideration for the purchase of Parcel 126
on the Liberty-Laurel III Project; and,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the purchase of the following land for improvements to the Liberty-Laurel
Corridor from Eleventh Street to Phelan Boulevard be, and the same is hereby,
approved:
Parcel 126: Being 0.0818 area tract out of the Noah Tevis Survey
(205 North 11th Street)
Appraised Value: $34,917.00 (Partial Taking)
Less Improvements: 0.00
Total Value: $34,917.00
Owner: Conn Development Corporation
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager be and he is hereby
authorized to execute a deed conveying the remaining property not required for the
right-of-way out of Parcel 124 and 125 to Conn Development Corporation in
exchange for the 0.0818 acre tract out of the Noah Tevis Survey, Parcel 126.
