WHEREAS, on November 21, 1994,bids were received for providing lease purchase
agreements on two (2) excavators and graders for use by the Public Works Department's
Street and Drainage Division; and,
WHEREAS,Municipal Leasing Credit Corporation submitted a bid for a five (5)year
lease purchase agreement at a rate of 6.05% for two (2) Gradall Model G3WD excavators
and graders; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Municipal
Leasing Credit Corporation should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Municipal Leasing Credit Corporation for a five (5)year lease
purchase agreement at a rate of 6.05% for two (2) Gradall Model G3WD excavators and
graders for the Public Works Department's Street and Drainage be accepted by the City of
Beaumont and the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a lease purchase agreement
for the two (2) Gradalls.
