WHEREAS, an agreement has been negotiated for the acquisition of land for
improvements to the Liberty-Laurel Corridor from Eleventh Street to Phelan
Boulevard;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the purchase of the following land for improvements to the Liberty-Laurel
Corridor from Eleventh Street to Phelan Boulevard be, and the same is hereby,
approved:
Parcel 119: Lots 1 through 6, Block 35, Jarrett Addition
(2905 Liberty Avenue)
Appraised Value: $220,000.00 (Whole Taking)
Less Improvements: $ 140.00
Total Value: $219,860.00
Owner: Mrs. Edna Elizabeth Marino
