WHEREAS, sealed bids were received for providing an annual contract for mowing
privately owned developed property (with an above the ground structure) and vacant lots
for the Clean Community Division; and,
WHEREAS, Good News Lawn Service submitted a bid for developed properties in
the amounts of $0.0017 per square foot for mowing and an additional $0.0017 per square
foot for removing grass clippings; and,
WHEREAS, Alamo Lawn Service submitted a bid for vacant properties in the
amounts of $0.0015 per square foot for mowing and an additional $0.0015 per square foot
for removing grass clippings; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bids submitted by Good News
Lawn Service and Alamo Lawn Service should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Good News Lawn Service for an annual contract for mowing
privately owned developed property (with an above the ground structure) and the bid
submitted by Alamo Lawn Service for an annual contract for mowing vacant lots for the
Clean Community Division in the above stated amounts be accepted by the City of
Beaumont.
