WHEREAS, on October 17, 1994, sealed bids were received for a six month contract
for the purchase of road oil for the Streets and Drainage Division/Public Works Department;
and,
WHEREAS, the following companies submitted a bids;

ASPHALT,
F.O.B. PLANTSITE RC-250 $ .59/gal
KOCH MATERIALS, MS-1 $ .65/gal
F.O.B. PLANTSITE CSR-2 $ .65/gal

DIXIE MATERIALS MC-30 $ .706/gal
F.O.B.
2610 CONCORD RC-250 $ .686/gal
and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bids submitted by Gulf States
Asphalt, Koch Materials and Dixie Materials should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bids submitted by Gulf States Asphalt, Koch Materials and Dixie Materials for
a six month contract for the purchase of road oil for the Streets and Drainage
Division/Public Works Department in the above amounts be accepted by the City of
Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the dW day of
1994.
