WHEREAS, two bids were received for the purchase of two (2) excavating and
grading machines for the Streets and Drainage Division; and,
WHEREAS, Hi-Way Equipment Company, Inc. submitted a bid in the amount of
$264,642; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Hi-Way
Equipment Company, Inc. should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Hi-Way Equipment Company, Inc. for the purchase of two (2)
Gradall excavators for the Streets and Drainage Division in the amount of $264,642 be
accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the /,e day of
1994.
