WHEREAS, the lawsuit of Kristinia Mae Standifer vs. City of Beaumont, et
al has been discussed in an Executive Session properly called and held; and,
WHEREAS, the Council desires to authorize the settlement of the lawsuit;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Attorney be, and he is hereby, authorized to settle the lawsuit of
Kristinia Mae Standifer vs. City of Beaumont, et al in the amount of Eighty-five
Thousand Nine Hundred Thirteen 80/100 ($85,913.80) Dollars.
