WHEREAS, an agreement has been negotiated for the acquisition of land for
improvements to the Liberty-Laurel Corridor from Eleventh Street to Phelan
Boulevard;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the purchase of the following land for improvements to the Liberty-Laurel
Corridor from Eleventh Street to Phelan Boulevard be, and the same is hereby,
approved:
Parcel 123: 0.0273 acre out of Lots 11 and 12, Block 34 and the east 1/2
of the abandoned Thirteenth Street right-of-way
(2895 Laurel Avenue)
Owner: Blood Center of Southeast Texas, Inc.
Appraised Value: $4,434.00 (Partial Taking)
Less Improvements: .00
Total Compensation: $4,434.00
