WHEREAS, on September 19, 1994, bids were received for the demolition and
removal of the buildings located at 2985 and 3095 Liberty Avenue; and,
WHEREAS, Gissco, Inc. submitted a bid in the amount of $21,000; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Gissco, Inc.
should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Gissco, Inc. for the demolition and removal of the buildings at
2985 and 3095 Liberty Avenue in the amount of $21,000 be accepted by the City of
Beaumont and the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to execute a contract with
Gissco, Inc. in the amount of $21,000 for such project.
