WHEREAS, the following named donors have donated the following parcels of
property, as described on Exhibit "A" attached hereto, for the betterment of the City:
1. 0.242 acre out of Block 3 of the W. W. Chaison Addition
Donor: Mrs. Mary Eugenia Askew
2. 0.023 acre out of Block 3 of the W. W. Chaison Addition
Donor: Mrs. Fredy Kate Landis
3. 0.033 acre out of Lot 9, Block "A" of Grandberry's Subdivision
of Blocks 12 and 3 of the W. W. Chaison Addition
Donor: Mr. and Mrs. Harry J. Hansen
WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the purpose of said donations and is of
the opinion that the acceptance of said donations of property is necessary and desirable and
that same should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to accept the donations of Mrs.
Mary Eugenia Askew, Mrs. Fredy Kate Landis and Mr. and Mrs. Harry J. Hansen Williams,
as described on Exhibit "A" attached hereto, for the betterment of the City.
