WHEREAS, an agreement has been negotiated for the acquisition of right-of-way for
Farm to Market Highway 364 (Major Drive) from Dishman Road north to State Highway
105;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the purchase of the following land for right-of-way for Farm to Market Highway 364
(Major Drive) from Dishman Road north to State Highway 105 be, and the same is hereby,
approved:
Parcel 167 B: 1.282 acres of land out of the H. Williams Survey, Abstract 56, and out
of the W. B. Dyches Survey, Abstract 56
Owner: Poley Mitchell, Individually and as Independent Executor
of the Estate of Myrtle A. Mitchell, Deceased
Appraised Value: $20,833.00 (Partial Taking)
Less Improvements: .00
Total Compensation: $209833.00
