WHEREAS, on Monday, August 15, 1994, sealed bids were received for an annual
contract to provide asphaltic concrete for the Public Works Department/Streets and
Drainage Division; and,
WHEREAS, APAC-Texas, Inc. submitted a bid in the following amounts:
Asphaltic Concrete Patch Mix, FOB
Vendor's Plant $ 32.50/ton
Hot Mix/Hot Laid Asphaltic Concrete, FOB
Vendor's Plant $ 23.00/ton
Hot Mix/Hot Laid Asphaltic Concrete, FOB
Jobsite, ZONES 1 THROUGH 4 $ 25.25/ton
Hot Mix/Cold Laid Asphaltic Concrete, FOB
Vendor's Plant 1 $ 25.49/ton
Hot Mix/Cold Laid Asphaltic Concrete, FOB
Jobsite, ZONES 1 THROUGH 4 1 $ 27.50/ton
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by APAC-Texas,
Inc. should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by APAC-Texas, Inc. for an annual contract to provide asphaltic
concrete for the Public Works Department/Streets and Drainage Division in the above stated
amounts be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the day of
1994.
