WHEREAS, on April 14, 1992, City Council awarded a contract to Russ Miller
Construction Company, Inc. for the Cartwright Drainage Project; and,
WHEREAS, during the course of construction several change orders were needed
for different construction problems; and,
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 7 has been created to decrease the Contract
($70,621.77) to adjust the estimated quantities to reflect quantities actually used in
completing the project;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to execute Change Order No. 7 as
stated above with Russ Miller Construction Company, Inc. The project is hereby accepted
and final payment in the of $532,167.76 is hereby authorized.
