WHEREAS, on Monday,August 8, 1994,bids were received for the purchase of five
section signal heads and 12" pedestrian signal heads for the Transportation Division; and,
WHEREAS, Traffic Parts, Inc. submitted a bid for eighty-one (81) five section signal
heads at $203.25 each; and,
WHEREAS, Texas Signal Equipment, Inc. submitted a bid for eight (8) 12"
pedestrian signal heads at $124.00 each; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bids submitted by Traffic Parts,
Inc. and Texas Signal Equipment should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Traffic Parts, Inc. for eighty-one (81) five section signal heads
in the amount of $203.25 each and the bid submitted by Texas Signal Equipment, Inc.
for eight (8) 12" pedestrian signal heads at $124.00 each for the Transportation Division be
accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the day of
1994.
