WHEREAS, Council authorization is requested for the City to accept a conveyance
of 5.0 feet of Lot 1, Block 6 of the Wescalder Fig Acres Subdivision from Preston Jardell
as described on Exhibit "A" attached hereto for additional street right-of-way for Wescalder
Road; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the purpose of said conveyance and is
of the opinion that the acceptance of said conveyance of property is necessary and desirable
and that same should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to accept a conveyance of 5.0 feet
of Lot 1, Block 6 of the Wescalder Fig Acres Subdivision from Preston Jardell as described
on Exhibit "A" attached hereto for additional street right-of-way for Wescalder Road.
