RESOLUTION NO.
WHEREAS, on Tuesday, July 5, 1994, sealed bids were received for an annual
contract to provide wrecker services to the Fleet Management Division and the Police
Department; and,
WHEREAS, Smart's Wrecker Service a bid in the following amounts:
Smart's Wrecker Service
SECTION I - Fleet Towing Beaumont, TX
Appx. 500 Towing - Light Duty $ 19.75/each
Appx. 100 Towing - Heavy Duty $ 49.75/each
Jump Start - Light Duty $ 5.00/each
Jump Start - Heavy Duty $ 5.00/each
Pull Out - Light Duty $ 19.75/each
Pull Out - Heavy Duty $ 49.75/each
Work Time - 1/10th hour $ 5.00/tenth
SECTION II - Police Towing
Appx. 40 Towing - Light Duty $ 20.00/each
Appx. 10 Towing - Heavy Duty $ 50.00/each
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Smart's Wrecker
Service should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Smart's Wrecker Service for an annual contract to provide
wrecker services to the Fleet Management Division and the Police Department in the above
