WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of two (2) single-axle diesel
powered truck cab and chassis equipped with a fifth wheel for trailer attachment for the
Solid Waste Management Department; and,
WHEREAS, Atterbery Truck Sales, Inc. submitted a bid in the amount of $104,012
for two 1995 International Model 8100 trucks; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Atterbery Truck
Sales, Inc. should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Atterbery Truck Sales, Inc. for the purchase two (2)
International Model 8100 trucks for the Solid Waste Management Department in the
amount of $104,012 be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the C4 day of
1994.
