WHEREAS, two bids were received for the purchase of a diesel tractor equipped
with a front end loader for the Water Production Division; and,
WHEREAS, Eastex Farm&Home submitted a bid in the amount of$17,987 for one
John Deere Model 5300 tractor equipped with a front end loader; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Eastex Farm
& Home should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Eastex Farm&Home for the purchase of a John Deere Model
5300 diesel tractor equipped with a front end loader in the amount of$17,987 be accepted
by the City of Beaumont.
