WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of one (1) diesel high clearance
farm type tractor with a rear mounted backhoe attachment for the Water Reclamation
Division; and,
WHEREAS, Oil City Tractors, Inc. submitted a bid in the amount of$34,477 for one
(1) Ford New Holland Model 6530 tractor equipped with a rear mounted backhoe
attachment; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Oil City
Tractors, Inc. should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Oil City Tractors, Inc. for the purchase one (1) Ford New
Holland Model 6530 tractor equipped with a rear mounted backhoe attachment for the
Water Reclamation Division in the amount of$34,477 be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
