WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of a front end loader and rear
mounted backhoe for the Parks Maintenance Division; and,
WHEREAS, Oil City Tractors submitted a bid in the amount of$37,427 for one Ford
Model 555D tractor equipped with a front end loader and rear mounted backhoe; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Oil City Tractors
should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Oil City Tractors for the purchase of a Ford Model 555D
tractor equipped with a front end loader and rear mounted backhoe for the Parks
Maintenance Division in the amount of $37,427 be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
