WHEREAS, on Monday, May 23, 1994, bids were received for an annual contract
to furnish ready mix concrete for the Street and Drainage Division; and,
WHEREAS, Transit Mix Concrete and Materials Co. submitted a bid in the following
amounts:
1/4 - 2 cu/yd 2-1/4 - 4-3/4 cu/yd
Price per Add or Partial Load Partial Load
5 Sack cu/yd Deduct/Sack Delivery Charge Delivery Charge
$ 54.00 $ 4.00 $ 20.00 $ 10.00
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Transit Mix
Concrete and Materials Co. should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Transit Mix Concrete and Materials Co. for an annual contract
to furnish ready mix concrete for the Street and Drainage Division in the above amounts be
accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the AW6 day of
1994.
