RESOLUTION NO. 5'
WHEREAS, on Monday, May 2, 1994, bids were received for the purchase of
uniforms for the Police Department; and,
WHEREAS, R & R Uniforms, Inc. submitted a bid in the following unit prices for
police uniforms, metal buttons and gold staff shoulder patches:

Men's short sleeve shirts $ 33.75
Women's short sleeve blouse $ 33.75
Men's long sleeve shirts $ 37.50
Women's long sleeve blouse $ 37.50
Men's uniform pants $ 45.00
Women's uniform pants $ 45.00
Shirt-metal buttons and hardware (silver and $ .50
gold)
Additional BPD patch, staff-gold $ 3.15
WHEREAS,Martin Uniforms submitted a bid in the following unit prices for uniform
caps and silver patrol shoulder and U.S. flag patches:

WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bids submitted by R & R

Uniform, Inc. and Martin Uniforms should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by R & R Uniform, Inc. for the purchase of uniforms, metal
buttons and gold staff should patches for the Police Department in the above stated unit
prices be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the bid submitted by Martin Uniforms for the
purchase of uniform caps, silver patrol shoulder and U.S. flag patches for the Police
Department in the above stated unit prices be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the f day of
