WHEREAS, one bid was received for the purchase of a 75 HP diesel drive tractor
slopemower for the Water Production Division; and,
WHEREAS, Oil City Tractors submitted a bid in the amount of $39,274 for a Ford
New Holland Model 6640 with an Alamo 20 ft. 4 in. extendible boom arm mower; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Oil City Tractors
should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Oil City Tractors for the purchase a Ford New Holland Model
6640 with an Alamo 20 ft. 4 in. extendible boom arm mower for the Water Production
Division in the amount of $39,274 be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
