WHEREAS, the City has contracted with Nations Bank as a depository for
investment purposes; and,
WHEREAS, Nations Bank wishes to pledge the following security being held at the
Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas effective May 10, 1994:

912827L91 US Treasury Note, 3-7/8 Z 95, $5,000.00
due 08/31/1995
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT Nations Bank be permitted to pledge the above-described security and a certified
copy of this resolution shall constitute the approval of such ,gled as evidence of the
authority of said bank to make said pledge.
