WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of ten (10) air masks with carrying
cases and ten (10) air cylinders for the Fire Department; and,
WHEREAS, Lincoln Welding Supply submitted a bid in the amount of$19,925 for
the air masks with carrying cases; and,
WHEREAS, Mine Safety Appliances Company submitted a bid in the amount of
$2,855 for the air cylinders; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bids submitted by Lincoln
Welding Supply and Mine Safety Appliances Company should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Lincoln Welding Supply and Mine Safety Appliances Company
for the purchase of ten (10) air masks with carrying cases and ten (10) air cylinders for the
Fire Department in the amounts of $19,925 and $2,855 be accepted by the City of
Beaumont.
