WHEREAS, sealed bids were received for the purchase of mobile and portable
radios for the Police Department; and,
WHEREAS, DBS Electronics submitted a bid in the amount of $673.88 each for
twenty (20) mobile radios; and,
WHEREAS, Neches Communications submitted a bid in the amount of$675.00 each
for twenty-five (25) portable radios; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bids submitted by DBS
Electronics and Neches Communications should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bids submitted by DBS Electronics for the purchase of mobile radios and Neches
Communications for the purchase of portable radios for the Police Department in the
amounts of$673.88 each for twenty (20) mobile radios and$675.00 each for twenty-five (25)
portable radios be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the day of
1994.
