RESOLUTION NO. G
WHEREAS, the City of Beaumont desires to dedicate as a park certain property at
the end of Pine Street along the Neches River such property to be designated as Collier's
Ferry Park; and,
WHEREAS, other properties may later be dedicated as additions to Collier's Ferry
Park;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City of Beaumont hereby designates the property described on Exhibits "N', "B"
and "C" hereof as Collier's Ferry Park the same to be subject to all the rules and regulations
and Ordinances applicable to parks of the City of Beaumont.

Tract B Out of Tract Four
BEING out of a 41.624 acre tract of land in the Hezekiah Williams, Jr.
Survey, Jefferson County, Texas and being more particularly described by
metes and bounds as follows:
FOR LOCATIVE CORNER beginning in the south line of the Hezekiah
Williams, Jr. Survey AB-57 and the north line of the Absalom Williams Survey
AB 385, at a concrete monument stamped "JE-69", South 89 degrees 55
minutes West, 2165.26 feet from the southeast corner of said Hezekiah
Williams Survey.
THENCE continuing South 89 degrees 55 minutes West 1068.52 feet with the
south line of the Hezekiah Williams, Jr. Survey to a point for corner; said
point being the PLACE OF BEGINNING for the herein described tract of
land, and the southwest corner of the Beaumont Water Works Canal right of
way, as described in the Quit-claim Deed dated August 13, 1914, from J.H.
Lawson to the City of Beaumont, as recorded in the Jefferson County, Texas,
Office of Deed Records, under film code 102-16-0431.
THENCE continuing South 89 degrees 55 minutes West 353.91 feet with the
south line of the Hezekiah Williams, Jr. Survey to a concrete monument
stamped "JE-71" for corner;
THENCE North 0 degree 22 minutes 30 seconds West 1472.08 feet to a
concrete monument, on the south bank of the Neches River, stamped"JE-70"
for corner;
THENCE with the South bank of said Neches River as follows:
South 87 degrees 5 minutes East 438.85 feet;
North 81 degrees 34 minutes East 258.30 feet, to the northwest corner of the
said Water Works Canal right of way to a point for corner;
THENCE South 12 degrees 31 minutes 15 seconds West with the westerly line
of the said Water Works Canal right of way a distance of 1523.29 feet to the
PLACE OF BEGINNING, containing 17.51 acres of land, more or less.

THENCE North 29 deg. 19' West 728 feet;
THENCE North 61 deg. 23' East 430 feet to the Neches River;
