WHEREAS, on Monday,February 21, 1994 sealed bids were received for a six month
contract for the purchase of road oil for the Street and Drainage Division/Public Works
Department; and,
WHEREAS, Dixie Materials submitted a bid in the following amounts:
DIXIE MATERIALS MC-30 $ .78/gallon
F.O.B. Plant RC-250 $ .78/gallon
MS-1 $ .66/gallon
CRS-2 $ .66/gallon
AE-P $ .79/gallon
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Dixie Materials
should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Dixie Materials for a six month contract for the purchase of
road oil for the Street and Drainage Division/Public Works Department in the above stated
amounts be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
