BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Council hereby approves the purchase of a token ring connection for the
AS/400 E35 computer located at the Police Department in the amount of$34,116.10 from
International Business Machines Corporation. This purchase is exempt from competitive
bidding because it is an equipment component available from only one source. Funds for
the purchase will be appropriated from the Confiscated Goods Fund.
