WHEREAS,on March 14, 1994,bids were received for the 1994 Street Rehabilitation
Program "Reconstruction and Overlay" for the construction and maintenance of streets
throughout the City; and,
WHEREAS, Bo-Mac Contractors, Inc. submitted a bid in the amount of
$1,851,323.39; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Bo-Mac
Contractors, Inc. should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Bo-Mac Contractors, Inc. for the 1994 Street Rehabilitation
Program 'Reconstruction and Overlay" for the construction and maintenance of streets
throughout the City in the amount of $1,851,323.39 be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to
execute the contract with Bo-Mac Contractors, Inc. for such project.
