BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Council hereby approves the amendments requested by the Community
Development Advisory Committee to assist in the renovation of the Metropolitan YMCA
of Beaumont Downtown Branch and to fund a program for the clearance and demolition
of dangerous structures where the cost to remove structures exceeds $15,000. The proposed
amendments would reallocate $440,600 from projects that were completed or unable to
move quickly.
