WHEREAS, bids were received February 28, 1994, for the lease purchase of the
Magnolia Park Activity Center; and,
WHEREAS, Banc One Leasing Corp., Irving, Texas, submitted a bid setting a
fixed interest rate of 4.89% for a four (4) year period; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Banc One
Leasing Corp., Irving, Texas, is the best bid and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Banc One Leasing Corp., Irving, Texas, for the lease purchase
of Magnolia Park at a fixed interest rate of 4.89% for a four (4) year period be accepted by
the City of Beaumont.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager be and he is hereby
authorized to execute a lease purchase agreement with Banc One Leasing Corporation for the
lease purchase of the Magnolia Park Activity Center.
