WHEREAS,bids were received for the purchase of two(2)diesel tractor mowers
for the Parks and Recreation Department ; and,
WHEREAS, Eastex Farm & Home of Beaumont, Texas, submitted a bid in the
amount of $10,435 for each mower for a total amount of $20,870; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Eastex Farm
& Home is the lowest and best bid meeting specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Eastex Farm & Home for the purchase of two (2) diesel tractor
mowers for the Parks and Recreation Department in the amount of$20,870 be accepted by
the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the FY�4 day
of 1994.
