WHEREAS, on November 9, 1993, City Council awarded a contract for cleaning and
repainting the exterior of the 1.0 million gallon South Elevated Water Storage Tank located
on Sabine Pass and Harriot Street to A-Way Tank Service, Inc.; and,
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 and Final is to adjust the contract amount by
$6,395.00 for shrouding the south half of the tank to prevent debris from falling on
neighboring private properties;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute Change Order No. 1,
as stated above, with A-1 Tank Service, Inc. and make final payment in the amount of
$491995.00.
